Grace's Place

In this conveniently located home, Virginia invites you to enjoy lodging amidst her family's antiques. Grace's Place commemorates Grace and Bob Jacobs, Virginia Seacrist's parents, in two ways:

First, Grace's Place honors her frugal parents who married during the Great Depression, in 1934, and who bought only good furnishings, one dollar at a time. True to their Pennsylvania Dutch and Swedish heritage, they took care of their things for the duration of their 67 year marriage. In addition, both parents inherited a few fine antiques from their parents, who had kept them well when they inherited them. Preserving the past, Virginia brought her parent's antiques, and she wants to share them with others.

Second, Grace's Place is located 4 miles from Shands. Virginia welcomes interns and externs to share her kitchen and laundry. One block from the bus route, the house has ample off street parking for all guests. No pets or smoking, please. No lease required for 4 week stay paid in advance.

Studio $800/month, private bath, entrance Library $500/month, shared bath
